A Relocatable Medical Building Resolves Disruption Problem
RAD Technology Medical Systems (RAD) is working with MidMichigan Medical Center – Alpena to set up its patented Temporary Radiotherapy Vault (TRV), relocatable medical building. All the while, MidMichigan Medical Center – Alpena will update its existing linear accelerator. As a result, their patients will continue cancer treatments uninterrupted during the transition. Whitley Manufacturing is proud to announce the opening a new cancer treatment facility in Edmonds, WA. RAD Technologies partnered with Whitley Manufacturing to provide the new treatment facility at the Swedish Cancer Institute’s Edmonds campus. This 17,000 sq. ft. modular facility is home to the most advanced cancer treatment technologies, and provides a multitude of clinical areas and administration spaces.
Designed by award-winning architectural firm Perkins+Will, this building is an illustrious example of contemporary architecture. The Swisspearl rainscreen façade combines seamlessly with light wood accents on the interior and exterior of the building to provide a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. The inspiring design, along with the quality Whitley construction makes this building a welcome addition to the Swedish campus.

Through a partnership with RAD Technology and Perkins + Will, Whitley Manufacturing produced an innovative and contemporary facility. This treatment vault was designed to be easily relocated multiple times throughout it’s lifespan.
Swedish Cancer Institute Radiotherapy Clinic Achieves LEED Silver
Whitley Manufacturing is proud to announce the LEED Silver certification of the Swedish Cancer Institute Radiotherapy Clinic. Designed by Perkins + Will and built for RAD Technology Medical Systems, this is the first building of its kind to achieve LEED certification.
