Their Need.

Williams-Scotsman had expanded their operations significantly over the past twenty years as their market share continued its steady growth. They had quite simply outgrown their original offices and needed additional space to service their ever-growing national network. Not any office space would suffice, however. They required a modular building of exceeding quality to show the state-of-the-art design and construction that is available with modular construction. The building would be seen on marketing materials, on their web site and would be pointed to as the quintessential example of their product and the highest in modular construction.

Our Solution.

The initial building was 35,000 square feet with a stucco exterior, a curved facade and bent windows. It presented a sleek, modern look to visitors. The foyer was finished in marble, chrome, tile, architectural glass and exotic woods. The interior presented an image of sophistication and permanence to further impress potential customers. Later, two additional wings were added to accomodate their growing staff. A pair of three story addition wings added another 35,000 square feet, bringing the entire structure to approximately 70,000 square feet. Electrical work facilitated a soaring demand for computer power, while other mechanicals and fixtures balanced style and function.

The building remains a showcase to the work of Williams-Scotsman and Whitley Manufacturing, and the best of the commercial modular construction industry.
