About Greyhound Bus Company
Greyhound is a venerable name in the history of American transportation. With hundreds of terminals around the country Greyhound buses are celebrated in the movies and American literature. Greyhound remains one of the quickest and more restful ways to travel from city to city.

Their Need
Their existing structure in downtown Pittsburgh was nearing the end of its life. Greyhound wanted a temporary building with which to continue to serve its customers while a new, larger facility was constructed. The building, however, had to be large, provide ample security, and endure the hundreds of travelers who would pass through each day.

Our Solution
Greyhound chose to partner with Damon Pross of Williams Scotsman and Whitley to build the 16-module, 11,000 square foot facility with food service, ceramic lavatories, baggage storage area and offices, all designed for the demands of high traffic and the need to minimize maintenance . The project took only five months to complete. Security sprinkler systems we installed, as well as multiple doorways to load and unload many buses simultaneously. The Whitley “clear span” modules allowed a wide-open grand hall which was complimented by a front wall in commercial glass.
