Whitley Manufacturing is dedicated to providing our customers with the option of pursuing green and environmentally sustainable modular buildings, as well as minimizing our own carbon footprint and impact on the environment. Our controlled, construction facility allows for efficient material use and re-use and our in-house steel fabrication operations allow for the use of recycled and refurbished components.
Every Whitley Manufacturing modular classroom, school, office, clinic and building incorporates inherently green and sustainable elements through the use of our modern construction system.
Design
Our green modular buildings are designed to be built in an efficient factory setting. As such, building layouts are planned to maximize the efficiency of material usage and reduce waste.
Construction System
Utilizing a streamlined construction system and factory setting allows for efficient material usage, reduced waste and material recycling and re-use. By constructing the balance of the building off-site, disruption to the site and its surrounding ecosystem is minimized. A centralized construction location reduces fuel use and pollution from material shipping and worker travel to separate construction sites.
Flexibility
The modern modular structure is designed to allow maximum flexibility. Buildings can be reconfigured, expanded and repurposed as the owner’s needs change. Modular buildings even offer the possibility of relocation to continue offering optimal performance across the building’s life cycle. The ultimate waste is a building that becomes inefficient or is demolished due to obsolescence. In effect, the entire Whitley Manufacturing modular building is recyclable.
As a custom builder, we can offer the ultimate in design flexibility and help you to accommodate the level of sustainable modular construction that you are hoping to achieve. Our specialties lie in modular school, modular office and modular medical buildings. We can design green relocatable modular buildings to help your business respond, adapt and change with the market.
