"It was an excellent combination of contractor, customer and Whitley's work that allowed us to build a structure we are very proud of, " according to Jerry Dieker, Vice President of Construction Management for Son Corporation of Wichita, Kansas.
Dieker's praise centered on the completion of a "state-of-the-art" sales center from Remax Realtors of Chesterfield, Michigan.
"It's a 15,000 sf building with fireplaces, a balcony, a walk out basement, a fitness center, showers, a kitchen, conference rooms, an elevator, a two story glass entrance, sprinklers, a fire alarm system, swipe card entry systems and space for 100 agents," Dieker added. "This is a building I am very proud of. It has style."
Dieker also praised Whitley Manufacturing. "The quality of construction of this Whitley building far surpasses the quality of every other modular factory I have ever worked with. And our service team made a big difference in smoothing the set up process. It was obvious to see that Whitley had a commitment and a desire to make this project a success."
Dan Lipinski, project manager for Whitley said the 16 modules were completed at the company's South Whitley, Indiana factory. Dieker added that the cost per square foot was less than $86, "which is very low for Michigan."
Son Corporation and Whitley are continuing their collaboration with three projects in other communities.
