Williams Scotsman Choses Whitley Building for Flagship

December 18, 1998 - WhitIey Manufacturing of South Whitley has been chosen by Williams Scotsman Inc. of Baltimore to build the expansion of their Maryland Headquarters, according to Simon Dragan, President of Whitley Manufacturing.
Williams Scotsman is one of the nation's largest modular building sales and leasing companies with offices from Seattle to Miami. "Their headquarters in Baltimore is considered a showcase of the possibilities of modular construction," said Dragan. "It is an honor to be chosen from among the many manufacturers of modular construction to create a building which will be presented as an example of the best in modular construction to visitors from all over the world. That is a testimony to our local designers and workers."
The three-story addition to the Williams Scotsman national headquarters will add 20,000 square feet of office space, as well as a basement, to the existing 40,000 square foot building.
Whitley Manufacturing is considered one of the nation's premier manufacturers of modular office buildings and construction trailers. Over 100 people are employed at the local facility.
